“Kaizo” is the story of two children wandering through an empty city. In an endless exploration, they search for meaning—or perhaps just an escape.
“Kaizo” is a love story set in a barren world, a narrative game without conclusion, a journey through timeless existence.
“Kaizo” is a tale of meta-disaster and unfolds in various attempts.It begins and ends perpetually. The start is the finish. Every conclusion births a new beginning.
In many of the original shots of the video material, some first-generation AI programs were invited to intervene and recreate them. Their – usually failed – results were superimposed on the old originals, creating new juxtapositions. As a last stage, after the work was divided into chapters it was left to another AI program to choose the order of editing. “Kaizo” as a final video is presented in six versions created by this program.
